As some of you may have been around to remember the fundraising I did to rebuild an indoor/outdoor skate park for the local youth in my town. Their was a smaller skating rink and was torn down and nothing was ever put in place of. This has been happing more and more over the last 10 years leaving our youth nothing to do, no positive outlets outside of school and no safe supervised place to hang out away from their parents.
I have held small fundraisers every six months for the last 7 years for things the community needed. I had never done anything on this scale before and not only did I accomplish and reach my goal I exceeded it!! However due to the COVID 19 problems we have had to face, quarantine being extended and travel interrupted people losing jobs and many other things that have come as a result. We now have had to extend the start date 14 months from March 2021 to May 2022 and from what I’ve been told (because accounting is not my area lol) it’s going to cost us dearly. So I’m going to leave this open for donations if you’d like to help that’s great if not that’s ok too!! Thank you!
Also I will be accepting challenges once a month (maybe more depending on how it goes) from my fans on here and 100% of what I earn in doing them will go toward this skate park as well. I put my heart and soul into raising enough to see this happen and it’s a crushing blow to think that it might now come about after all!! So if you have any suggestions or ideas I’d love to hear them all!! 🥰😘.
