Added 2023-06-08 13:00:14 +0000 UTCI just arrived in Thailand and I'm so excited to explore this beautiful country. The airport was huge and crowded, but I managed to find my way to the taxi stand. The driver was friendly and spoke good English. He told me about the best places to visit and the local customs. I felt like I was in a Star Wars movie, traveling to a new planet with a wise guide. The hotel was amazing, with a pool, a spa and a rooftop bar. My room had a balcony overlooking the city. I could see the skyscrapers, the temples and the river. The view was breathtaking. I felt like I was on Cloud City, except without Darth Vader. I decided to go out and explore the night market. It was a feast for the senses. There were so many colors, smells and sounds. I saw stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, electronics and food. I tried some pad thai, some mango sticky rice and some fried insects. They were surprisingly tasty. I felt like I was in Mos Eisley Cantina, except without Han Solo.
