Looking back now it was an initial red flag that things were off. Our leader sat us all down & began the lesson in a fury saying that she had recently heard one of the most vile & vulgar songs entitled “Field Of Gold” by Sting. I knew this song well because it was in all of my mixed tapes at the time it was a favorite of mine! She said the words were basically a very dirty porno. I was both shocked & amused because I had always found the lyrics to be tastefully beautiful & modestly sexy. 🎵🙄
