1st thing was the listing said, free shuttle to the hotel. OK, so we call and try to line it up, turns out you have to book two days in advance which I guess is understandable BUT then they tell us shuttle runs from 7-8am only!! What kind of scams is that!!!
2nd issue was more our fault, we wanted to splurge since this is a beach from town and we been staying in pretty cheap hotels so far so we got a really nice one at a resort but it was from a host and they didn’t respond fast enough so we had to book this one last minute. It said it was a suite and in the pictures looked like it had a separate room but it was basically just a nice hotel room. Can’t complain too much but it was annoying.
3rd issue is the roof top pool was nice but they close at 6pm!!!
4th and final issue was the biggest. While the bathroom was nice, their shower setup was by far the worst design I ever seen. Basically the water would get all over the floor and it wasn’t tilted so the water didn’t drain. I grew up in Vietnam so I know some bathrooms are setup like this but the water drains. But for an expensive hotel designed for western tourist this was unacceptable!
There were a few minor issues as well but these were the biggest ones. Luckily we were able to cancel the remaining two days and move to this resort shown here. It’s about 30 mins away from Danang south also on the beach in Hoi An.
